More than 50 chemists received their Ph.D. and/or M.S. while working for
Dr. Crouch. If you'd like to see where they all are now, check out the

alumni page. The final graduate received his degree in 2000.
Awards
Stan was honored at the 1996 Spring ACS national meeting in Orlando,
Florida. He received the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry Award
for Excellence in Teaching. A group reunion of sorts took place at
the meeting. A group photo taken at the meeting can be seen on the aforementioned
SRC
alumni page. A symposium was held in Stan's honor, and many group alumni
presented talks.
In 2001, Stan received the ACS Award in Chemical Instrumentation at
the ACS national meeting in Chicago.
Current Research
A wide variety of research projects were performed in Stan's labs over
