Question 1 - Part B

You may refer to amino acid names and corresponding structures for this question - a table of their names and structures will be available on the exam.

Amino acid names, structures, and pKa's

A pentapeptide was subjected to Edman degradation and identification of the phenylisothiocyanate derivatives obtained at each step. The derivatives were identified in the following order: cysteine (CYS), leucine (LEU), tryptophan (TRP), arginine (ARG), tyrosine (TYR).

Type the sequence of the n-terminal fragment that would result if the original pentapeptide were treated with chymotrypsin. Use the three-letter amino acid abbreviations given above and separating each abbreviation from the next with a dash (-). Do not include any extra spaces.
