Course Introduction - This reproduction of the transparency shown the first day of class shows how much you have already learned and how the material we have yet to learn integrates with what you know.
Basic Proton and C-13 NMR - by Paul Young, University of Illinois at Chicago. Includes practice problems.
MRI Tutorial - by Ray Ballinger. This site shows a medical application of NMR spectroscopy. Many of the subtopics are very technical, but specific medical uses of MRI are included and may be interesting to you.
Quick Infra-red Tutorial and practice problems - by Prof Evan Thompson, California State University, Stanislaus (Note: the author has not made solutions available for the unknowns, but discussion with other students and/or course instructors should clarify any questions you may have about them)
Proteins - Animations and pictures of proteins and protein secondary structures.
Protein Databank - a database of protein structures determined by x-ray crystallography or NMR methods. Database maintained by the Brookhaven National Laboratory
Information about viewing various types of information on these servers:
Using plugins: Appropriate plugins are strongly recommended for viewing movies and molecules.
Obtaining and using Rasmol: Rasmol allows viewing of molecules with user control of rotation, rendering, and scale. It can be used as an alternative to the Chime plugin which allows the same operations.
